Kia Cadenza

Not only was the designer Peter Schreyer that Kia imported from Germany. From there also came the parameters that the Korean brand has adopted to build their cars, almost as strong as the Germans most luxurious and traditional. The latest proof of this is the Kia Cadenza. So much for what he presents as the novelty he retires.

The model who left the scene was the Opirus, a luxury vehicle that sported to disguise their disharmony. When it comes to style, they do not seem to children of the same brand. But the differences are also lush in dynamic behavior. With 3.8 V6 engine and front wheel drive, the front did the heavy Opirus out front without much provocation. That's not nearly resembles the neutrality of Cadenza.

The engine of the current model, the Lambda 3.5, is smaller but more powerful. Instead of 267 hp, as the Opirus, it yields 290 hp, with slightly less torque (34.5 mkgf against 36 mkgf). This indicates that the output Cadenza is worse than the predecessor, correct? Nein! The drag Opirus was 1725 kg, 1655 kg against the Cadenza, which is smaller (4.97 meters against 5), but more spacious (has more than 5 cm wheelbase). The secret to the best performance, besides weight, is due to the variable valve timing (both for admission and for the exhaust).
Being so superior car to its predecessor, the Cadenza compare the Opirus is mere matter of historical respect. Correct is to confront him with Chevrolet Omega, Chrysler 300C, Toyota Camry and Hyundai Azera future. And for the first time Kia has a model capable of facing the competitors on an equal footing.
Even with some advantages.
The first is that the Cadenza is the latest model in its segment. The less complete catalog already includes xenon headlights, six-speed automatic transmission with manual exchanges possible, turn signal lamps and LED, air conditioning, dual-zone, twilight sensor, rain and parking, leather seats, keyless system, ABS, ESP and six airbags. It costs 119,900 dollars. What evaluated, which brings the most double electric sunroof, costs 124,900 dollars. The most expensive, with white interior, sells for 127,900 dollars. Even cheaper than the competitors, and the second largest of its advantages.

Cadillac Escalade

In August 1902 two investors, William Murphy and Lemuel W. Bowen, Leland sought to offer a company that was being liquidated. This company was founded in 1899 under the name Detroit Automobile Company produced a few cars and went bankrupt in 1900. In 1901 it was rebuilt and reorganized by his chief mechanic who renamed it with your own name, calling it the Henry Ford Company. But after three months the company was bankrupt again and Henry Ford himself, who founded the FORD shortly after he left the company. Investors then sought Leland aiming to offer you to buy the factory and machinery. After inspecting the factory, he had a great idea and sought investors in order to convince them to give up get rid of the enterprise. He showed that he believed in the future of the automobile and had them to offer a new engine, the same that was offered previously Olds, with nearly triple the potency of which were used for this and had a lot less problems than other available on the market. Impressed with the offer of Leland, investors not only accepted his idea but also put him in charge of the new company. Officially on August 22, 1902, in Detroit, appeared CADILLAC. The first car (a single cylinder) the new assembly was completed on October 17 and was designed and engineered by the Henry Leland. The vehicle was high due to the poor roads of the era American.

Lamborghini Estoque

It seems that, finally, Lamborghini does not want to miss out on the four-door supercar. Lamborghini, Porsche Panamera and follows the Aston Martin Rapide, to quote one of the main rivals of the new car's signature Sant'Agata Bolognese. The new Lamborghini Miura to be presented will be called the stock, and that is precisely what we seek to strike their fiercest competitors, this new model.

It seems that, given the expectation that created a new Audi A7 Sportback, Lamborghini reconsidered its position of not producing the Estoque. When the Lamborghini Estoque introduced in 2008, there have been many rumors about the actual implementation of this new model. However, today things have changed considerably and although the president of the brand, Stephan Winkelmann, then of course that would manufacture a hatchback door coupe and four-year flight seems to think.

Apparently, the stock can be loaded into the shared platform with the Porsche Panamera (also a direct rival.) According to rumors in recent weeks, what seems clear is that it will incorporate a V8 engine, although it is still too early to draw conclusions , we look forward to official statements confirm or deny this rumor again.

                   Maserati GranTurismo 2012

price:R$ 750.000,00 a R$ 850.000,00

The Maserati GranTurismo coupe superluxuoso came from Italy to Brazil in the first half of 2008. His first appearance took place in Geneva (Switzerland), 2007. With design studio created by Pininfarina, the GranTurismo, two doors, can carry four passengers, with the driver. The car recalls the first Gran Turismo produced by Maserati, the 1947 A6 1500 GT Pininfarina.

engine
Under the hood, the GranTurismo is equipped with front engine, longitudinal, 4.2 V8, 32 valves, which develops 405 horsepower at 7100 rpm and torque of 47 Nm at 4750 revolutions. The weight / power ratio is 4.6 kg / hp and weight / torque 40 kg / Nm. The exchange rate used is a six-speed automatic with sequential option exchanges.

performance
With this set, the sports coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 285 km / h.

Flowing lines, a rich exhaust note and the promise of sun-filled open-air driving are the calling cards of the 2012 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sport, which now boasts more power and a greater fun factor from its recalibrated transmission.
As part of the mid-cycle changes to the GranTurismo line, the new Sport version utilizes the same 444-bhp 4.7-liter V-8 and ZF 6-speed sequential shift torque converter gearbox as the sharper-edged MC coupe.

The exterior changes to the convertible are understated, and include blacked-out trim for the grille, headlight surrounds and the rear oval tailpipes, while the door handles go from chrome to body color. The front-mounted Trident logo features red tips and there are subtle changes to the front fascia and more pronounced side skirts to improve aerodynamics.
Inside, an optional carbon-fiber trim package is used on the dash and door panels and that racy look is complemented by the drilled aluminum gas and brake pedals. Updates include longer column-mounted sequential shift paddles and redesigned sport seats. What hasn't changed is the interior room—the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible is a full 4-passenger vehicle with plenty of space in the rear.

Drop the Top and Go
The GranTurismo features an automatic power top that operates smoothly and quickly. The cloth lid stows in its own compartment behind the rear seats so that, unlike most power retractable hardtops, trunk space is not compromised. And the more efficiently packed cloth top means the car's lines are much purer—no hunchback is needed to accommodate the top stack.
While performance has been taken up a notch, the car isn't named GranTurismo by chance. It is more of a GT than a harder-edged performer like the MC. A big part is the use of magnetically controlled dampers in the car's Skyhook suspension. Although the settings are tauter than for the standard convertible (spring rates are 15 percent stiffer, while the anti-roll bars are up 20 percent), there is still plenty of compliance for a smooth, effortless ride. The car does have spirited road manners and responsive steering, but it isn't quite as razor sharp as the MC.

The positioning of the engine behind the front axle gives the car almost perfect weight distribution. There's less understeer and body roll. Sport mode recalibrates the Skyhook suspension to its firmest setting and also quickens the automatic's shift times.
The gearbox also features a manual mode that holds the gear until another is selected, except when coming to a stop. And that fact that it still has a torque converter contributes greatly to the car's smoothness in stop-and-go operation.
Being an open car, the Convertible is not as tight as the coupe, but the structural integrity of the vehicle is impressive when also consider the size of the cabin. And when the top is down, you immerse yourself in that wonderful engine sound. Priced at $142,300, the 2012 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sport goes on sale this fall.
