Investors then sought Leland aiming to offer you to buy the factory and machinery. After inspecting the factory, he had a great idea and sought investors in order to convince them to give up get rid of the enterprise. Impressed with the offer of Leland, investors not only accepted his idea but also put him in charge of the new company. Officially on August 22, 1902, in Detroit, appeared CADILLAC. The first car (a single cylinder) the new assembly was completed on October 17 and was designed and engineered by the Henry Leland. The vehicle was high due to the poor roads of the era American.
